People are raving about this new pancake.

We welcomed 2020 with a new food trend. Souffle pancakes are everywhere on the internet. Towering stacks, velvety façade, decadent frostings – pancake has never been this charming! Facebook and Instagram feeds have seen the best of these share-worthy new food craze.

With this new technique in cooking pancakes, we can say that eggs, milk, butter and flour have really gone a long way. Souffle pancakes are literally a marriage of two of the world’s popular dining staples: the light and puffy baked egg-based French dish called souffle and the fluffy perennial American favorite breakfast called pancake. If almost half of the last decade was dominated by the bubble teas, we expect the next years to bring these souffle pancakes its well-deserved fame.

The list is not too long and now, it’s quite hard to find these soufflé pancakes. So, we’ve listed the spots where you can order your own stack of these fluffy souffle pancakes.

1. Tokyo Milkcheese Factory

Usually a grab-and-go stall, Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory finally opened its very first sit-down cafe here in Manila. We’re already in love with their air-light cheesecake and ultra-creamy ice cream but we’d fall deeper now because they are offering a stack of fluffy goodness. Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory’s soufflé pancakes taste best with dusted sugar, syrup and nama cream!
